Via della Spiga, the heart of the fashion district of Milan, will be the first italian "Smart Street" with innovative services for citizens and visitors from sustainable mobility with urban stations to charge the electric vehicles, with the sos security columns and video surveillance, wi-fi connections for smartphones and tablets, an innovative LED lighting, as well as elegant totem touch screen dedicated to the promotion of tourism.
The "Spiga Smart Street" is sponsored by the gruop "Friends of Via della Spiga" and sponsored by the City of Milan and the support of private prestigious companies such as Fastweb, Samsung, Umpi, Cariboni Group Lighting, Illumination Blachere, Imq-Italian Institute of Quality Mark.

Via della Spiga, il cuore della moda milanese, sarà la prima "Smart Street" italiana dotata di servizi innovativi per cittadini e visitatori: dalla mobilità sostenibile con le stazioni urbane di ricarica per veicoli elettrici, alla sicurezza con le colonnine sos e di videosorveglianza, collegamenti wi-fi per smartphone e tablet, una innovativa illuminazione led, oltre a eleganti totem touch screen dedicati alla promozione turistica.
Il progetto "Spiga Smart Street" è promosso dall’Associazione Amici di via della Spiga con il patrocinio del Comune di Milano e il supporto di prestigiose aziende private come Fastweb, Samsung, Umpi, Cariboni Group Lighting, Blachere Illumination, Imq-Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità.
Avremo il piacere di vedere in anteprima in occasione del Fuori Salone del Mobile 2013 come sarà questo progetto.
L'innovativo sistema di luce urbana a proiettori led, permetterà di ottenere alti livelli di risparmio energetico. Infatti questo progetto, secondo i promotori consentirebbe di realizzare il 70% di risparmio energetico.
Questa piattaforma smart, se estesa alla città, garantirebbe risparmi di gestione tra energia e ottimizzazione dei processi manutentivi, contribuendo a migliorare la qualità della vita dei milanesi.
